Payroll Deduction

海角论坛 employees can establish a pre-tax recurring gift through payroll deduction. Bi-weekly gifts will be automatically deducted from each pay period and designated to the fund(s) you select.

A donor-advised fund (DAF), which is like a charitable savings account, gives you the flexibility to recommend how much and how often money is granted to the 海角论坛 Foundation and other qualified charities. You can recommend a grant or recurring grants now to make an immediate impact or use your fund as a tool for future charitable gifts.

You can also create a lasting legacy by naming the 海角论坛 Foundation as the beneficiary of the entire account or a percentage of the fund. With a percentage, you can create a family legacy of giving by naming your loved ones as your successor to continue recommending grants to charitable organizations.

Endowed Funds

Gifts to establish an endowed fund, or to grow one of our 450+ existing endowed fund, create a perpetual source of financial support. The 海角论坛 Foundation Board of Directors is responsible for managing the endowment. Each year, investment earnings are distributed to support the intended purpose of the endowed fund. This means that your original gift stays invested and continues to grow.

Endowments can be designated to fund scholarship awards, experiential learning opportunities, professorships, or other programs within the University.
