There’s a reason why students returning to campus after break sometimes slip up and refer to the trip back to Oneonta as “going home.” At ̳, our mission is for students to feel welcomed, comfortable and part of a community, right from the get-go.
From our Hunt Union “Living Room” with a view, to cashiers who know your name and go-to coffee-and-bagel order, we strive to be students’ home away from home.

Housing
A sense of belonging begins where you start and end your day: in our residence halls, designed for rest, relaxation and study. You’ll find a comfortable bed, large closet, fast Wi-Fi, common game rooms and workout rooms, and friends right next door and around every corner, just waiting to watch a movie or show and get to know you better.

Dining
Find something to snack on any time of the day or night, including delicious options for vegetarian and vegan diets. From family dinners and fresh-baked cookies in the dining halls to late-night vending machine and Mills Marketplace visits, your hunger level and our dining schedule will always overlap. You can even cook for your friends or brush up on your chef skills in our full-service, do-it-yourself MyKitchen or smaller res hall kitchens.

Refrigerators
Don’t want to leave your room? Oneonta Auxiliary Services contracts with a Refrigerator Leasing Company that offers several models and sizes of MicroFridge and refrigerators, as well as delivery and pickup.

Laundry
Doing your own laundry is a breeze with high efficiency front-loading washers and dryers located in all residence halls, with unlimited, free access. We even have an app called LaundryView that lets you know when your laundry is done!

You’ve got mail! Dragon Express, located in Hunt Union, receives and distributes all mail and packages for students. You can easily send mail and packages here, too—from letters home to postage stamps to packaging supplies, we’ve got you covered.

Money
Need some cash? We have three ATMs conveniently located on campus: Community Bank and NBT Bank ATMs are located in the Hunt Union Living Room area, and a Sidney Federal Credit Union ATM is in Mills Dining Hall. Need to cash a check? You can do that here, too, at the ID/Dining Card Office inside Red Dragon Outfitters.

Common Areas
When you’re not in your res hall room and not in class, where do you hang out? We’ve got tons of comfortable spots to choose from. Shoot hoops with friends or walk the track at Alumni Field House, take a breath inside the Campus Meditation Room, hunker down for a study sesh at Milne Library, read a book by the plant wall in Physical Science, or take in the views of Hunt Union Pond inside our Living Room, International Lounge, or on the dock!

Red Dragon Outfitters
Forgot a cozy pair of sweatpants or a winter hat? Take a walk up to , our official campus store. In addition to ̳ clothing, gear, gifts and seasonal items, Red Dragon Outfitters also carries essential school and dorm supplies.

College Camp
There’s lots of green space right on campus, but if you’re looking for a bigger “backyard” to catch a breath of fresh air in and unplug, look no further than College Camp, which boasts nearly 300 acres of former farm and woodland to explore. Located about two miles from campus, you have access to our stargazing observatory, lodge and tons of educational, recreational and social opportunities.

Red Dragon Food Pantry
The Red Dragon Food Pantry, located in Hunt Union, is a full-service food pantry open to all ̳ students and employees, designed to help battle food insecurity by giving Red Dragons free access to nonperishable food, basic needs items and fresh produce.
