Generous new grants from The Clark Foundation will allow researchers at º£½ÇÂÛ̳’s Biological Field Station (BFS) in Cooperstown to continue to monitor and study the presence of harmful algal blooms (HABs) on Otsego Lake, just in time for the summer season.

Bloomberg Philanthropies has recognized º£½ÇÂÛ̳ as an American Talent Initiative (ATI) High-Flier, a group of 28 high-graduation-rate institutions that are national leaders in college access and success for lower-income students. º£½ÇÂÛ̳ received the distinction for its high Pell share, and innovative recruitment, enrollment and retention practices.

Family, friends, faculty and staff celebrated º£½ÇÂÛ̳’s Class of 2023 during Spring Commencement exercises on Saturday, May 20. Visitors gathered inside the Alumni Field House to recognize the 1,150 students expected to complete their requirements for graduation this semester.

Five Oneonta businesses are being recognized for their dedication to diversity and inclusion with a newly established award, given jointly by º£½ÇÂÛ̳ and Hartwick College.

Sixty-two º£½ÇÂÛ̳ students and the Sport and Exercise Sciences department partnered with Special Olympics to host a regional track and field event at Oneonta High School on Sunday, May 7, 2023.
