º£½ÇÂÛ̳’s long-running educator preparation programs have had the distinction of being continuously accredited since 2000, and recently reached an important milestone, earning accreditation from a new accreditor, the Association for Advancing Quality in Educator Preparation (AAQEP).

A grant of nearly a quarter of a million dollars will let º£½ÇÂÛ̳ Biology faculty and students conduct research on an invasive species that has become a widespread problem in the Lake Champlain Basin – Eurasian watermilfoil.

Several major construction projects at º£½ÇÂÛ̳ will wrap up this summer before students return to campus for the fall 2023 semester.

New applied learning programs at º£½ÇÂÛ̳ are giving students real-world experience in board rooms and beyond, illustrating the university’s emphasis on hands-on learning and commitment to community partnerships.

º£½ÇÂÛ̳ has joined an inaugural group of 26 colleges and universities pledging Federal Work Study (FWS) funds to help K-12 schools close achievement gaps heightened by the COVID-19 pandemic, answering a call from the U.S. Department of Education to increase the number of college students employed as tutors, mentors, success coaches and in other roles that support school-aged children.
