Through the generous support of donors to the "Grow. Thrive. Live, the Future of ������̳" fundraising campaign, the college’s Student Emergency Fund is now fully endowed with gifts, grants and pledges totaling more than $1 million.

Following the approval of Interim SUNY Chancellor Deborah Stanley and the SUNY Board of Trustees, ������̳ will be designated as a university instead of a college beginning Jan. 23, 2023. The institution’s legal name will be “State University of New York at Oneonta.”

������̳ celebrated scholarship and innovative teaching with its 2022 Life of the Mind faculty research showcase and Community of Scholars event. Research projects by more than 90 faculty members were on display during the two-day showcase, and five faculty and professional staff were honored for outstanding scholarship

The Nebula Society is a newly recognized club at ������̳ that uses the on-campus planetarium to share knowledge of astronomy and related topics with members of the campus and Oneonta community.

The ������̳ community honored students, staff, alumni and friends who were members of the United States Armed Forces with several special events and activities on Veterans Day.
